SPARK began with a simple belief: life’s greatest opportunities — a co-founder, an investor, a mentor, a lifelong friend — begin with a single introduction. Yet the tools built to connect us made connection shallower. So we built the opposite.

Every curated membership request is personally reviewed. Rooms are curated, not crowdsourced. Venues are chosen with care. We keep the bar high because exceptional communities don’t happen by accident — payment never guarantees acceptance.

The Founder

One suitcase. Five rebuilds.

Sunny Khurana left Auckland in November 2023 with one suitcase and a conviction: that swipe-based platforms were profiting from loneliness rather than solving it. He sold property at a loss to fund the runway, rebuilt the product five times, and grew SPARK in Bangkok.

Now live in New Zealand — SPARK’s first Western market — alongside Thailand. Australia to follow.
